9 September Global Health and Development group, CMITo attract health workers to rural areas of low income countries is crucial in order to research poor populations with basic health services. Economist Pieter Serneels will present a cohort study of Ethiopian health workers which aims to identify which factors determine their choice of urban vs rural job locations.
Pieter Serneels is a Senior Lecturer at the University of East Anglia, UK. He is an economist with a focus on service delivery, poverty, health and employment in low income countries.
