Bergen Resource Centre for International Development houses one of the largest specialized collections in Norway of books and periodicals on development studies, economics, political science, anthropology, poverty, peace, conflict and development aid as well as regional studies on Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Latin America.
Our library includes the book collection from the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies. We also host the Mahmoud Salih Sudan Collection, which makes our collection on the Sudan one of the most comprehensive of its kind in Europe.
The Resource Centre library also provides reading space for people who would like a place to study or to use the online databases and web resources available.
